Vizione

A player for the media
you already have.

Point Vizione at your own media server or a playlist file and it plays what is there — with a proper guide, resume, favourites and a layout built for a phone rather than shrunk onto one.

Vizione contains no content and comes with nothing pre-loaded. It has no directory, no search for places to find media, and no affiliation with anyone who supplies any. You provide the address; it plays what is at it.

What people use it for

Your own library

A home media server, a NAS, or anything else you run that can publish a playlist. Your own recordings and your own files, on your own hardware.

Free-to-air and public streams

Broadcasters and organisations that publish streams openly. Plenty of it exists, and a player is all you need to watch it.

Services you are licensed for

Anywhere you hold an account and the terms allow you to use a player of your choosing.

What it is not for. Vizione must not be used to reach anything you do not have the right to watch. That is not a disclaimer we have buried somewhere — it is the condition of using it, we enforce it, and accounts that break it are closed. Acceptable use →

Everything unlocked

Continue watching, downloads, recording, reminders, parental controls, kids profiles, custom playlists, picture in picture, casting, and more than one playlist at a time.

5

Five devices

Your favourites and where you got to follow you across up to five devices, without your server sign-in details ever leaving any of them.

No adverts

The free tier shows ads, and an ad can be traded for an hour of Vizione+. A subscription removes them entirely.

What we know about you

Almost nothing, and that is deliberate. Your server sign-in details never leave your device. Your favourites and viewing history sync as numbers we cannot resolve into names — we can tell you have 43 favourites, and nothing at all about what they are.

Getting started

  1. Add a playlist. A server address with your username and password, a playlist link, or a LinkACode ID if that is how you were given the address.
  2. Pick a profile. Set a PIN for your own, and a kids profile that only ever shows what you allow.
  3. Watch. Guide, resume and favourites, on the device you are holding.
